Guardia Civil deployed to Vuelta

Guardia Civil has deployed 132 officers to provide security for the 81st Vuelta Ciclista a España, which began yesterday in Monaco and runs until 13 September.

The operation includes personnel from the Traffic Division and the Reserve and Security Group, supported by a helicopter, motorcycles, four-wheel-drive vehicles and drone and anti-drone technology.

The race covers more than 3,200 kilometres over 21 stages, travelling through Monaco, France, Andorra and Spain before finishing in Madrid.
