Government raises concern over ChatGPT

The Data Protection Agency has raised concerns over artificial intelligence program ChatGPT, asking the European Union privacy watchdog to evaluate the system.

Spain has joined a growing list of European countries who have issued warnings over the system, including France and Italy – last month Italy banned it’s use in offical settings.

A plenary meeting of the European Data Protection Board is due to take place today, where the topic is expected to be discussed.
