Feijóo Plans Motion of No Confidence Against Sánchez Government

Opposition leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo has said he plans to submit a motion of no confidence against Pedro Sánchez.

He made it clear that he would proceed with this plan if he receives support from the pro-independence Junts per Catalunya party.

If they voted in favour – along with Vox – that would just pass the threshold to trigger the resignation of the government.

Junts leader Carles Puigdemont has scheduled a meeting of party leadership in Brussels to discuss the potential vote.
