Explosion at Plastics Factory in Alicante Kills Three

An explosion yesterday at a plastics factory in Ibi, near to Alicante has killed three people and injured seven others.

Officials say a boiler explosion caused a shockwave, damaging the factory and a neighbouring business.

Emergency services reported three individuals are in serious condition.

The town council has declared three days of mourning.
