DGT announces new signage for Low Emission Zones

Low emission zones are to receive new signage, the DGT has announced.

Displaying a car with dotted smoke emitting from its exhaust, the new signage aims to provide a nationwide standard for drivers to identify areas where pollution regulations are in force.

The sign has been introduced as part of the Climate Change and Ecological Transition Law, which will result in municipalities of over 50,000 residents establishing low emission zones.
