Testing rates for Covid-19 increases nationwide
Autonomous communities across the country have seen their testing rates for Covid-19 increase by 16% in the last week, according to data released by the health ministry.
As well as that, over 2.2 million PCR tests – those that test for an active virus – have been carried out since the start of the epidemic.
Regional authorities have also confirmed that 1.3 million rapid antibody tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak.
In total, the number of tests carried out nationally now stands at just over 3.5 million, with half a million carried out in the last week alone.
