Number of coronavirus clusters continues to rise across the country

Nationwide there are currently 158 confirmed clusters of the virus, affecting over 1,900 people.

Two regions remain in phase 2, whilst four have restrictions in place.

Small clusters of the coronavirus have been detected in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote in the Canaries, and in Benidorm and Santa Pola on the Costa Blanca.

Health officials are currently monitoring these, however there are no concerns at the moment surrounding community transmission on the Costa Blanca or the Canaries.
