Over two tonnes of stolen copper recovered in Seville

Guardia Civil have recovered around two tonnes of stolen copper and two hundred and fifty kilograms of tinned solar cable during an operation in Seville.

Four people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the alleged handling and sale of stolen industrial materials.

Officers say the recovered metal is believed to have been stolen from renewable energy installations and other infrastructure, with inquiries continuing to identify its origin and any further suspects.
