Nerja scoops online award

Residents of Nerja are celebrating after the town won the award as Spains most charming seaside town.

The town topped the poll on holiday website hotel.info, beating Ortigueira in Galicia into second place, and Rota in Cadiz into third place.

Over 16,000 people took place in the vote, with Nerja winning by over a 1000 more votes than any other town.
