Woman dies after bathing in Denia

A 72-year-old German woman died on Wednesday morning after bathing on Denia’s Els Molins beach.

The woman was pulled from the water after she was discovered unresponsive. However despite the actions of emergency services, she was declared dead at the scene.

She is the latest victim of the sea over the last few weeks, and people are reminded to take care when bathing in the seas, especially on hot days.
