Tragedy at Massanassa School Construction Site

A construction site accident at the Luis Vives School in Massanassa has left one worker dead and another injured.

The incident took place at an external porch while maintenance work was being conducted following last months floods in the Valencian region.

Officials have said the incident was unexpected, as there was no sign of structural failure.

Education minister José Antonio Rovira stated rebuilding the school might be more viable than repairs, as concerns have been raised about the buildings structure following the collapse.
