King and Queen of Spain Visit Affected Communities

King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Chiva and Utiel in Valencia to express ongoing support for communities affected by recent flooding.

During their visit, the King noted that while the situation has improved, it will still require significant time and ongoing support from state bodies, and pledged their ongoing support.

Their visit comes just over a fortnight since they were met with protests from residents who voiced their frustration with rescue efforts.
