Policia Nacional have arrested two people in Elche on suspcion of attempted murder after a fight in a bar.
Emergency services were called after the victim was found in the street with serious injuries. A passer by alerted authorities and helped with first aid.
The pair are also understood to be facing theft charges. The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital in Elche.
