Hundreds of swimmers competed in the XIX Swimming Crossing of the Bay of Benidorm this week.
178 swimmers from 60 clubs, as well as a number of non-club swimmers took place in the event held at Mal Pas beach on Sunday morning.
The 2 mile course saw Haigor Aranguren Fuertes cross the line first, recording a time of 43 minutes and 8 seconds – his fifth major title in the area.
Iris Gracia García was the first woman to cross the line, with a time of 55 minutes and 54 seconds.
