Streets in Alicante undergo refurbishment

The Ayuntamiento de Alicante has launched a regional infrastructure project which will repair broken pathways and curbs on six hundred streets in the area.

In a statement issued yesterday, the regional authority said that the works – which began at the end of September – are running to schedule.

Works are at the moment focusing on the city centre, but will soon move to the suburbs and neighbourhoods of Alicante.
