2 arrested on suspicion of armed bank heists

Guardia Civil have arrested 2 men in connection with a string of armed bank robberies in the region over the last few years.

A 71-year-old man, and his 56-year-old accomplice were arrested in raids in the Marina Alta area last week, after its understood the crimes have netted the men over €150,000.

It’s understood the older man has a history of crime, and was involved in raids in Cuenca, Toledo and Mostoles.
