Bus passengers get app to let them buy tickets

Bus passengers on a number of routes locally are now able to purchase their tickets using their mobile phone.

Passengers on lines 03-03N, 22 and 22N are able to use the yupi app on Android devices to pay for their bus tickets for the last few weeks.

If the pilot scheme works out well, it’s hoped that it will be rolled out across the region in the near future.
