Half of gang who robbed service stations detained in raids

Mossos d’Esquadra have detained two suspected members of a gang who are believed to have held up petrol stations and robbed people staying in service areas across the region.

Two other members of the gang are believed to be still on the run.

The two detained are understood to be both Bosnian, aged 37 and 21 years of age. They were arrested in a series of raids in Barcelona last week.

Both have been bailed whilst awaiting trial.
