Mobile World Congress Boosts Barcelona’s Hotel Costs and Economy

Barcelona is preparing for the highly anticipated Mobile World Congress, taking place from today until the 6th March.

Hotel occupancy in the city has hit ninety five percent as thousands of delegates are due to arrive over the next few days.

The Mobile World Congress organisers have reserved twenty-one thousand hotel rooms, accounting for more than half of the city’s capacity.

An estimated thirty thousand delegates, primarily from Asia and the United States, are expected to attend.

Notable participants include major corporations such as Deutsche Telekom, Huawei, Google, and Microsoft, along with over two thousand seven hundred exhibitors.
