Man arrested in Barcelona for murder of partner, eleventh feminicide in Spain this year

Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a fifty-nine-year-old man in Barcelona on suspicion of murdering his partner.

Investigators detained the man in the suburb if Vic, accused of killing the woman who was last seen in April.

It’s understood he was detained whilst he was trying to leave the country.

The victims death would bring the total number of confirmed sexist murders to 11.
