Guardia Civil seizes 4.5 tons of hashish and operational war weapons in El Garraf (Barcelona)

Guardia Civil have carried out raids in Barcelona that has resulted in the seizure of over four and a half tons of hashish.

Officers conducted an operation in the city suburb of El Garraf, resulting in the confiscation of the drugs as well as the discovery of a number of high powered firearms.

The operation, known as ‘Rescatada,’ led to the arrest of fifty people, including a Local Police officer in training.

Over five and a half tons of hashish, three hundred stolen electronic devices, and a significant amount of cash and assets were recovered in the operation.
