Blas Trujillo – the Minister of Health for the Canarian Government – was in El Hierro yesterday to unveil a new fleet of ambulances which will operate on the island.

The new vehicles will operate both emergency and non-emergency transport for patients across the island, providing an essential service to residents.
In a project that cost just over €10 million, the three new ambulances carry the latest life saving equipment, as well as provide additional equipment compared to the current fleet.
