Twenty-five injured in Ibiza ferry accident

Twenty-five people have been injured in a ferry accident in the Baleraric Islands.

Two people have been reported as seriously injured – including a ten and twelve-year-old boy, in the accident which occured on Saturday night.

The San Gwan ferry ran aground whilst passing the islet of Malvins. 48 people were on board the ferry at the time of the accident.

Owner of the ferry – FRS – said the accident occurred whilst it was performing a service between the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
