Ryanair issues warning over cabin restrictions
Ryanair has issued a warning to passengers over bringing alcohol onboard flights to certain Spanish destinations.
The budget carrier has said a ban on duty free in the cabin is to be brought in on flights to Ibiza, Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, Palma and Tenerife South following a number of cases of disruptive behaviour on board.
Passengers with bookings received an email this week informing them that any duty free bought in terminals would be placed in the aircraft hold for free at the gate, with people who were caught smuggling alcohol into the cabin barred from boarding the flight without a refund.
