Katy Perry’s Video Under Investigation in Spain for Filming Violations
Katy Perry’s latest video is under investigation for alleged unauthorised filming on protected sand dunes in the Balearic Islands.
The government has said it is looking into claims made against the production company for filming on the uninhabited islet of S’Espalmador.
The video, from her seventh album, ‘143’, showcases Perry enjoying the beaches of Formentera, taking boat rides, swimming in the sea, and partying in Ibiza.
Although a preliminary inquiry is underway, officials clarified that it is not currently viewed as an environmental crime.
