Arrested for breaking two ATMs with an excavator in less than 15 days in a town in Toledo

Guardia Civil have detained five people on suspicion of robbing cash machines with an excavator in Toledo. The first attempt in the town of Borox was unsuccessful, but during the second attempt, the gang managed to extract the cash point’s safe and abandoned it a few meters away. Guardia Civil recovered four thousand euros that was in the safe after the group failed to gain entry into the stronghold. Investigators believe, the group also committed other crimes, including burglaries and theft of jewellery and watches worth over one hundred and fifty thousand euros. Twenty-three crimes have been attributed to the gang, and the arrests were made after four homes were raided, resulting in the recovery of two thousand euros in cash.
