Autistic child left alone for six hours on school bus
An investigation has been launched after an eleven-year-old child with autism was left alone on a school bus in Alcorcón for nearly six hours.
Officials said the child fell asleep on the bus and was not noticed by the driver or school monitors when it returned to the garage.
After waking up and beeping the horn, the child was able to get off the bus and was later found at a nearby supermarket.
The child’s mother has filed a complaint and is waiting for explanations from the bus company and the Education Department of the Community of Madrid.
