Airports report busy October as records look set to be smashed

Airports across the country have seen another busy month, according to airport operator AENA.

Canarian airports reported more than 3.9 million passengers in October, 8.2% more than in the same period of 2016

Alicante-Elche Airport reported more than 1.2m passengers in October, an increase of 4.2%

Barcelona-El Prat Airport handled 4.1 million passengers in October, an increase of 3.9%

The figures are released as statistics show that this year is on track to smash the records broken last year for vistor numbers.
