Ukraine: Spain to send 4 more tanks as Sanchez visits country

The Spanish Government has announced that it will send an additional four tanks to Ukraine, bringing the total number of battle ready tanks to ten.

Prime Minster Pedro Sanchez met with Ukrainian president Volodímir Zelenski on the eve of the first anniversary of the Russian invasion.

During his visit to Bucha and Irpin, Mr. Sanchez re-affirmed Spain’s support for the country, as well as offering ongoing support for those affected by the invasion.

Mr. Sanchez also confirmed that training for Ukrainian troops on how to operate the Leopard 2A4 tanks was underway, with them due to be delivered in the next 2 months.
