Storm Doris weather warnings continue through the weekend

A series of weather warnings for heavy rains, high winds and rough seas remain in place across much of Spain for the weekend, as Storm Doris approaches the country.

Red and amber weather warnings have been extended until Saturday by weather agency Aemet, as high winds, some gusting at over 100kmh are expected to hit the mainland. Warnings are expected to remain in place until Sunday at least.

Along the Costas, there is a number of yellow and amber warnings in place, and people are being advised to exercise caution if near the sea, and should the weather take a turn for the worse, be extra cautious when out and about.
