Salvamento Marítimo Recovers Fridges Off Cádiz Coast

The Coast Guard has recovered twenty two fridges and a freight container that was adrift off the coast of Cádiz.

A coordinated effort was launched in the waters of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Gulf of Cádiz to pick up the items which were understood to have fallen from a passing cargo vessel.

Despite the recovery of twenty-two fridges so far, sightings of additional units floating have been reported, with Salvamento Marítimo issuing advice to vessels to exercise caution in the area.
