Sanchez urges China to discuss peace plans with Ukraine

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has urged China to discuss their peace plans directly with Ukraine, as his state visit draws to a close.

Mr. Sanchez made the statement at the Spanish embassy on Friday ahead of a meeting with the Chinese President Xi Jinping in Bejing.

The prime minister was the first Western leader to meet with the Chinese president since Xi visited Moscow last month.
