Car sales rocket in March

The number of car sales increased dramatically in March, according to trade data published this week.

Nearly 100,000 vehicles were bought last month, an increase of 66.1% when compared to the same period in 2022.

As the first quarter of the year came to a close, sales when compared to the same period last year rose by 44.5%.

Improvements in supply chains and overdue deliveries of new vehicles, as well as increases in bulk purchases by rental firms, have driven the increase in purchases.
