The number of Spaniards living abroad has risen for the eighth year in a row.
According to data released last week by the National Statistics Institute, the number of Spaniards with foreign residence is 794,209, an increase of just under thirty thousand.
Taking into account individuals who hold Spanish citizenship but were not born in Spain, the number rises to 2,406,611, a 4.4% increase from 2016.
