Government Implements Major Measures for Energy Transition and Marine Protection

The Government has approved key proposals to enhance the national electrical networks, following April’s widespread power outage.

The measures include enhanced monitoring systems and flexibility for energy resources, aimed at providing greater energy stability.

The government also approved an investment of nine hundred thirty-one million euros in transport energy networks, funded by European Union resources.

The investment will also include further infrastructure developments for energy intensive businesses, as well as the rollout of electric vehicle charging stations.
