Period of mourning declared in Benidorm after woman’s murder

Benidorm has begun a day of official mourning following the death of a 33-year-old woman, in a case being investigated as possible gender-based violence.

Policía Nacional has arrested her partner on suspicion of homicide, along with two other men accused of helping to move the woman’s body to a rural area between Benidorm and Finestrat.

The three men are aged between 30 and 45.

A five-minute silent gathering will be held at eleven this morning in Plaza de SSMM Reyes de España, in memory of the victim.
