74 migrants discovered hidden in Ceuta building

Policía Nacional has found 74 migrants living in overcrowded and precarious conditions inside a property in Ceuta.

Ten of those found were unaccompanied minors.

Officers arrested a local man suspected of leading a criminal organisation accused of facilitating irregular migration and exploiting vulnerable people.

Investigators are also examining allegations of labour exploitation, violence and injuries to children, including possible injuries caused by dog bites.

The operation took place on Tuesday in the El Príncipe district.
