More big names pull out of MWC over coronavirus fears

More technology companies have announced that they will no longer be sending delegates to this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Yesterday social media giant Facebook, as well as Intel, Vivo, MediaTek and Accedian confirmed that they will not be sending employees to the event.

event organiser GSMA has announced that it will now hold a meeting on Friday to discuss if the event will still go ahead after a number of high profile businesses pulled out of the congress.
