13 tonnes of laughing gas confiscated in Tenerife drug raid
Guardia Civil has seized almost 13 tonnes of nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas”, in an operation in the south of Tenerife.

Six people have been arrested and a further six are under investigation for alleged offences including membership of a criminal organisation, drug trafficking and money laundering.
Officers seized more than 10,000 containers of nitrous oxide during raids in Arona, Adeje and Granadilla de Abona.
Cocaine, cannabis, hashish, Tusi, cash, imitation firearms and knives were also found.
Guardia Civil says it is the second-largest seizure of nitrous oxide in Europe.
