Drones to attempt to rescue stranded dogs on La Palma

Drone operators are hoping to rescue a number of dogs that are trapped on a rooftop in the Todoque area.

Three specialist pilots from Aerocámaras will use nets and bait to try and lift the four dogs that have been sheltering on the rooftop of a property that was surrounded by lava.

Two companies on the island have been providing food and water to the stricken animals, which have received food remotely.
