British man tests positive for coronavirus in Majorca

A British man has tested positive for the Coronavirus in Majorca, bringing the number of people in Spain with the infection to two.

Tests on his wife and two daughters, aged seven and 10, have come back negative and they have no symptoms of the killer virus, regional health officials say.

It’s understood that the man, who has not been identified, came into contact with another person who has the virus in France.

Health officials confirmed the dad had contracted the flu-like virus, which has killed more than 800 people, most of them in China, during an outbreak that has spread around the world.
