The Investigation into Operation Catalonia Moves Forward

The congressional commission investigating Operation Catalonia has finalised a list of twenty witnesses including former prime minister Mariano Rajoy.

The commission aims to explore allegations of actions to undermine independentist leaders during the tenure of former Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

The first to appear on the 15th October, will be former Secretary of State for Security Francisco Martínez and former deputy police chief Eugenio Pino.

Prominent figures including former Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and former Generalitat president Artur Mas will conclude the list of testimonies.
