Teacher detained in Estepona on suspicion of sexually assaulting pupils

Policia Nacional in Estepona have detained a teacher on suspicion of the sexual assault of two pupils in Malaga.

Officers detained the man after a complaint was issued regarding a series of alledged assaults which took place between 2015 and 2018.

According to a police statement, the suspect said that he would harm the victims sibling if they ever told their parents of the assault.

Following initial investigations, a second victim came forward. Police have not ruled out any further cases.

The suspect has been placed on remand ahead of their trial.
