Spain Donates Vaccines to Combat Mpox in Africa

The Government has said it will donate twenty percent of its mpox vaccine reserves to Central African countries.

This amounts to one hundred thousand vials which can immunise up to five hundred thousand people.

In it’s statement, the government urged the European Commission to extend this proposal to all member states following an outbreak of the virus in African countries.

Health officials emphasised that vaccines should be directed where the problem exists.
