Spain Develops Unified Public Transport Ticket
The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced it is developing a unified public transport ticket set to launch next year.
The new service – which has been given €9.5 million funding – will allow use of various public transport services across the country for a single price, improving accessibility and sustainability.
The unified ticket will encompass urban, metropolitan, and state public transport services in its initial phase, although commercial train services will not be included.
