Interior Ministry activates eclipse Committee

Preparations are continuing for Wednesday’s total solar eclipse, with the Interior Ministry activating the State Coordination and Direction Committee for the operation.

Authorities are coordinating emergency services and other public bodies ahead of what is expected to be a major event, particularly in areas along the path of totality.

The eclipse will be visible in totality across parts of northern Spain, while a partial eclipse will be seen across much of the country.
