Today is deadline for postal ballots in General Election

Today is the deadline for those who wish to vote by post in the forthcoming Spanish General Election.

Those who wish to apply for a postal ballot need to go to any post office. Correos officials have reminded people that postal applications must be made in person, unless the person requesting the vote is suffering from illness or disability which is documented by a medical professional.

Tomorrow marks the start of the official campaign period ahead of the General Election on the 10th November.
