Sanchez to make political offer “within 48-hours” of winning election

Acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has pledged to make an offer to the main political parties within 48 hours after next month’s general election in a bid to break the current political deadlock in the Congress of Deputies should PSOE win the vote.

The aim would be for Sanchez to pass an investiture vote in December, and then to pass a new budget in the first months of 2020.

Spain is to return to the ballot box on the 10th November for the fourth vote in four years.
