Election enters final day of campaigning ahead of Sunday’s vote

The final day of campaigning is taking place today, before this Sunday’s General Election.

Official campaigning will draw to a close at midnight tonight, before an official “day of reflection” before the ballot on Sunday.

Preliminary results will be expected throughout the day, with an initial declaration made on Sunday night.

Spain is holding it’s fourth General election in as many years, after the previous Parliamentary session failed to pass the investiture of the current Prime Minister.
