Government issues instructions for preparing the twenty‑twenty‑seven state budget

The government has published its instructions for preparing the 2027 state budget.

In a statement from the Finance Ministry, it told departments to prioritise investment in digitalisation, green transition and social cohesion.

The order sets spending limits and the timetable for submitting proposals.

The draft budget is due to go to Parliament later in the year.
